Obituary of Waffle Rodgers
Waffle wasn’t just a cat. He was a force of love, warmth, and pure, unfiltered personality. He filled every room with his chatter, always ready to share his thoughts on anything and everything. He wasn’t just affectionate; he was aggressively so; always head-butting, cuddling, and covering me in kisses like it was his life’s mission.
He had a way of converting even the most stubborn non-cat lovers. “I’m stealing him from you,” was something I heard all the time, and honestly, I can’t blame them.
Waffle was my emotional anchor. No matter how bad the day was, he was always there curling up on my chest, purring, making sure I knew I wasn’t alone. He loved his wet food like it was a five-star meal, and his goofy, fluffy, orange self brought me more comfort than words can say.
Losing him feels unbearable, but I know his love isn’t gone. It’s woven into every moment we shared, every memory, every soft little “mrrp” he gave me. Waffle was more than a pet. He was my heart. My son. My peace.
