Obituary of Charlie Clark
From the moment we saw Charlie we knew he was meant to be ours. It wasn’t a shock when he and Shelby were fast friends, he was already family. Charlie was a silly boy who loved to open and slam cupboards and demand to chew on any plastic he could find. He accepted everyone without a thought, even giant dogs, or a mangy homeless cat he turned into his brother and a little sister he never asked for but cherished anyway. He was beautiful and turned the eye of everyone he met. He was a true king and that was shown in his glorious tail, adorable eyes, and big paws. Our Charlie was persistent and never gave up, even after 14 years of never being an outdoor cat he still tried to run out the door every time it was opened, and he gently but insistently pawed at Mama's face to tell her it was time to eat. He enjoyed his outdoor stroller rides and being carried around the yard in the arms of his mommy or sissy. He loved his brother Kiwi from the start and became Percy's safe haven when she came home. He loved to play with bottle caps and crumpled post it notes, but his most favorite were his catnip bananas. Most of all he loved his mommy and his sissy. Whether it was surprise demands for sissy to lift up her blanket and let him in, or morning snuggles from mommy while she kissed him on the head, Charlie showed us in a million ways he loved us. Our gentle boy will never truly be gone because he filled our lives with so many memories and our hearts with unconditional love. Find Shelby and run free sweet boy, we will meet you on the other side.
