Obituary of Mack Wise

Mack was a rescue from GA who started out life chained in a barn. He was rescued by Shih Tzu and Furbaby Rescue in St Mary's GA a Toy breed rescue group. I recall the Director asking "would you foster a big dog?". I laughed and said " you know i have a Rottweiler so how big is big?" " 20 lbs" she said. Mack came to foster in 2009 and loved playing with his 110 lb Rottweiler buddy Cabo. He adored Molly Shih Tzu his first "girlfriend" and all of the other female dogs i fostered. 

No critters were safe from the chase and killing snakes was his passion. He loved doing "patrol rounds" of his yard and defended it fiercely. Any sunny day was perfect for napping in the yard. Mack lived a long great spoiled life to 18 years old. His girlfriend Molly passed in 2022 and he was lost without her. He went blind shortly after that and could no longer jump on the bed or couch so I set up my walk-in closet as "his bedroom" with comfy blankets and beds. Mack run free at the Rainbow Bridge with Molly, GiGi, Ellie, and Baby Girl !!
