As animal lovers ourselves, we realize pets are important family members too.  Pets are unconditionally loyal companions that profoundly touch our lives.  Because pets bring us immeasurable happiness, love and joy, it can be devastating to lose such an adored friend.

Rick was inspired to pursue a career in funeral service during his early years, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather.  A resident of Webster, Rick graduated from West Irondequoit High School in 1997 and excelled in sports such as, wrestling and soccer. He received his A.A.S in Mortuary Science from the State University of New York at Canton in 1999; and has been a NYS Licensed Funeral Director since 2000.  Rick and his family are parishioners of Christ the King Church, and volunteer at St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church.  When he’s not working, Rick loves to play all sports and works out on a daily basis. Rick also enjoys getting on his stand up paddle board on Conesus Lake, boxing, golf, and beach volleyball.  Rick has been married to his wife, Amanda since 2014, and in 2016 they welcomed into the world their identical twin boys, Hudson & Holden Harris.  Lastly, Rick is a Certified Funeral Celebrant and former President of the Rochester Genesee Valley Funeral Directors Association.

Courtney grew up in Pittsford and is a graduate of Pittsford Mendon High School.  She received a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from SUNY Geneseo in 2004 and a Master of Science in Sport Administration from Canisius College in 2006.  After nearly fifteen years working in hospitality, sales, and marketing for a professional sports team, Courtney made the decision to pursue a new career path.  She is thrilled to be a member of the Pets and Peace team that is dedicated to offering an unparalleled level of care and compassion for your pet.  A resident of Webster, Courtney enjoys hiking with her beloved dog - Miles, reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

A resident of Irondequoit, Larry graduated from West Irondequoit High School in 1997. Larry has been married to his wife Jennifer since 2003.  Larry has over 16 years of working in customer service.  Being an avid animal lover, Larry joined the Pets at Peace team in April 2015.  During his free time, Larry enjoys watching sports, especially the Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees, being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends and beloved dogs, Snickers and Georgia.  Larry and his wife Jennifer are members of CTK.

Jason is a resident of the City of Rochester. He recently transitioned from the hospitality industry so that he can pursue his MBA. In his free time, Jason likes to travel, backpack, hike, ski and socialize with friends.

A resident of Henrietta, NY, Heather graduated from Rush Henrietta senior high school in 2013. Coming from a family of dedicated animal rescuers, Heather has been involved in the rescue community for over 20 years, 10 of those being with professional rescue organizations. She currently fosters several dogs and cats at a time, but has had her own pup Rocky for 19 years and her cat Gizmo for 15 years. During her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her daughter, Grace, hiking, traveling and spending time with friends.

As a resident of Greece, Tony graduated from Greece Athena High School in 1984. Tony has been married to his wife, Andrea, since 1994 and has two daughters, Alexa and Ariana. In March of 2021, Tony retired from the Ridge Road Fire District after 29 years of service as a firefighter. Not too long after retiring, Tony joined Pets at Peace in April. In his free time, Tony enjoys working on his food truck, Curbside Quesadilla, going to the casino, and spending time with his family.

Shannon is a resident of Greece, NY. She has her degree in Entrepreneurial studies. Shannon and her wife Brenda have been married since 2017 and together they share six children. Shannon has more than 20 years of management experience. She currently owns a cleaning business, works a part time supervisory role at Hilton hotels and joined the Pets at Peace family in 2021 because of her love of animals. During Shannon’s free time she enjoys collecting sports cards, snowboarding, and playing outside with her kids. Shannon and her family have two dogs, two Guinea pigs, two rats and a cat.

Tony grew up in Irondequoit and is a graduate of East Ridge High School and Monroe Community College. In 2006, Tony retired from the Monroe County Sheriff’s department after 27 years of service and joined the Harris Funeral Home in 2009.  He currently is a resident of Penfield-Webster with his wife and three sons.  Tony is a parishioner of St. Rita’s church in Webster and is involved with event planning for the annual St. Rita fiesta. He also volunteers his time at Camp Good Days and Special Times.  In his free time, he loves to fish, golf, bike, and watch his sons play sports.  He also is an avid sports fan.
