Obituary of Price Vanbortel-Buckley
Price aka Bear or Bear Bear was a very special cat. Price loved to be snuggled and scooped, loved his brother from another mother Kip, and especially loved trying to steal human food from unsuspecting “victims”. He loved bagels, corn dogs and in the end his ham baby food. Price loved the “sheet game” and loved his “bunny” that he would routinely “hunt” and “kill”. Most of all, he loved being around all sorts of beings- human, feline, even some dogs and a tortoise. Adopted as a tiny kitten 15 years ago, Price was able to live a beautiful and long life and is already missed.
Price is survived by his devoted human companion and adoptive mother, Katrina, his “step-dad” Jacob, his feline brothers Kip and Duke, tortoise sister Katya and snake brother Herbert along with many friends and family, human and otherwise. He was predeceased by Pearl kitty and Henri, who he loved dearly even though she bossed him around.
Rest easy my baby, my good little boy, my Bear Bear, my Price cat. I am forever grateful for the time we had together and will cherish it forever.
With love from your human mom, Katrina
